GERMAN PARKING GARAGE

This is not in Munich. It's the storage tower at the Volkswagen Autostadt in Wolfsburg where the factory is. These cars come off the production line and are kept in 2 of these towers for customers who have specially arranged to take delivery of their cars from the factory. If you are ever in Hanover or Berlin, Wolfsburg isn't far away and it is worth visiting the Autostadt which is an impressive headquarters for VW and its brands, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley, Skoda, Bugatti and there are museums dedicated to each brand, you'll need at 2 days to see everything and take part in some of the driving demonstrations, etc. There's even a Ritz Carlton within Autostadt so you can stay in the same place for days.

Photo attached an the two car towers can be seen from the outside.

Wow !! How's this for an engineering feat? German Technolgy !!

STATE OF THE ART
GERMAN PARKING GARAGE (COOL!!!)
This is pretty amazing! Can you imagine how all of this operates?

And how do they lock each car in its cubicle for safety? (Actually, that is not much of a concern because no one could possibily get inside it here, but the Germans will lock each car anyway.)
Talk about German efficiency! The two photos above were taken at a new parking garage in Munich, Germany. The actual space that the facility occupies is approximately only 20% of a comparable facility with the traditional design that is used primarily in the United States.
Not only is the German structure less expensive to build, but vehicles are also "retrieved" in less time and without the potential of being damaged by an attendant.
